While I have bowed to The Creator of the universe — my Lord — others will eventually too. Most of us humans have someone(s) who leave us star-struck. If you do not believe in God as creator of the universe, my belief that he exists also tells me that you too will meet him. And I suspect he who created all the stars in the universe will indeed leave you (and me) star-struck; you like me will bow in awe. He created us with a mortal and temporal body but with an immortal and eternal spirit. Eternity is not only the future, but the present and past too. The quote “Life is a journey not a destination” bears truth — God gave me life, meaning he gave me a journey, and my joy is not only in my eternal destination with him, but this part of eternity as well, these years in my mortal body where my joy is being invited to walk with him and call him Daddy. In that journey I get to watch and experience him at work on me, in me, and through me. I hope you open your heart to that offer he presents to all he created in his image.

Through losing the most important thing in my life I gained the most important thing in life. I have now stated it to others a few times since that first time on August 28, 2015, as an indisputable truth of my life. Through continued valleys and hardships, I continue to learn and grow in character, knowledge, and perhaps what some would call wisdom. Designing stuff is great. Living life right is greater. I’m working on the latter, and also doing the former. I wish the same for you.

You know, as I have done my final proofreads and edits on this, I don’t feel like it is good enough. But, I felt compelled to share it, for that one or two who might give a crap and read it. So there it is. The writing was my part for good or not; what happens from here with it is God’s part.
